It’s amazing that people have such love for our pole barns that they sing about it. In fact, it’s one of the most sung songs in karaoke.

Yeah, we love our love shack, too, baby. It’s a place where we can get together and have a little fun. After all, that’s where we keep all of our favorite toys. Headed for the Love Getaway
Well, it’s set way back in the middle of a field. Perhaps Minnesota or Texas. It might be just a funky old shack, but I gotta get back. C’mon. You know the words.
Pole barns are exquisite architectural buildings. They don’t have to be fancy. But they are certainly functional. If you want to sprinkle glitter all down the hallways, we’re not ones to judge. We may have been guilty of doing the same from time to time, but that’s between us.
Don’t flatter yourself cowboy, I was looking at your barn.
One of the best things about having your very own love shack is that you can get away whenever you want. If you find yourself always headed to the same neck of the woods, why constantly waste your money on hotels or B&Bs? It might be time to build a little shed and turn it into a cabin.
That cabin can be a romantic getaway, a hunting cabin, or whatever else you want it to be. And when you have a cabin that is placed perfectly, you’ll be the place where everyone wants to be. They’ll be movin’ and a groovin’ right on your property.
Just be mindful of the neighbors. Otherwise, you’re bound to hear them bang, bang, banging on the door.
Life is Better in the Barn
You do have a barn, don’t you? Let’s face it. Money can’t buy happiness. But it can buy pole barns, and that’s pretty much the same thing. And there’s no reason you can’t have more than one barn. They’ll all become your love shacks. I mean, what isn’t there to love about a beautifully crafted shed?
You can call it a barn, a shed, a shack, whatever feels right. It’s all about choosing one that will allow you to fall in love. With the structure, that is. Metal buildings are stronger. They’ll withstand the wind, the rain, and the snow. And there won’t be any tin roof to worry about rusting. At Sherman, our roofs are made of steel.

The floor can be concrete, or you can upgrade to laminate, carpeting, or granite. Hang whatever you want on the walls, too. We’ve seen it all, from mounted moose heads to wine bottles.
Get creative. This is your space, and you should absolutely love it. No matter what, your life will be better when you spend it in the barn. You may even fall so in love with it that you’ll decide to build an even bigger one to call home. Who needs a traditional brick home anyway? Certainly not us.
How Many Love Shacks Are There in Sherman Country?
You know, we’ve never really counted. There’s a lot. We’re making more and more every year, and we’ve been making them since 1976. By that rate, we estimate that there have to be thousands. That’s a whole lot of love, don’t you think?
We’re not ones to brag, but we’re in the business of quality erections. So, if you do want a love barn, building, shed, or shack, we’re the ones to make it happen.
