Fifty years ago, our founder Andrew Kelling was known around Mora as The Barn Builder. Farmers trusted him with the shelter that held their livelihood — the herd, the harvest, the year ahead. That trust is the foundation Sherman Buildings was built on in 1976, and it is still how we work today.
Half a century later, the Barn still means the same thing. Shelter. Safety. Security for what matters most. First it was livestock and equipment. Then the toys, the tools, the things a lifetime gets spent collecting. Today, more and more, it’s people — families living inside the best-built structure on the property.
