Sherman Pole Buildings traces its history to 1976 when Andrew Kelling opened the doors to Kelling Construction. Since then we have undergone a name change and we’ve expanded our scope with a significant amount of experience coming from our post-frame construction experience. But we remain committed to our old-fashioned values. Through the years, Sherman Pole Buildings has upheld a steadfast commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and customer service. We believe in building quality, functional, and attractive buildings at a reasonable price.

The company specialty is in residential, commercial, and agricultural post frame buildings and has built homes, storage buildings, pole sheds, airplane hangars, riding arenas, livestock pole barns, municipal buildings, and everything in between. As a family-owned and operated business we are committed to treating our customers like family, delivering every project to the highest standards. As a leader in our industry, we pride ourselves on our expert craftsmanship, integrity, quality service, and vast experience.

We have added two divisions that have unique offerings. With Sherman Lumber, we provide material packages and support to pole buildings contractors. Our other division, Sherman Builders, is a general contractor that builds homes, commercial buildings, interior packages, and additional real estate development.

Sherman has been growing for nearly 5 decades and will continue to grow far into the future.
